Apple has announced the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. While they are not part of Apple’s major update cycle there are a lot of interesting changes.
A great new feature on the iPhone 7 is the fact that Apple has made them waterproof and dust proof, so you can now have your phone get wet without worrying about destroying it.
The new iPhone will also come with Apple’s new operating system iOS10. And Apple’s most powerful processor yet the A10 fusion, it’s a 64 bit quad core processor that is 40% faster than the iPhone 6.
Apple is bringing you some new choices for your iPhone colour, In addition to the standard silver, gold and rose gold you can now choose matte black or jet black.
Apple has also done away with the headphone jack which means you will have to get a lightning converter for your current headphones or upgrade to a pair of bluetooth earbuds. While Apple may have removed the headphone jack, both new iPhones utilise stereo speakers (on the top and bottom of the device) which allows you to be more immersed in the sound.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus features an entirely new camera system. With the iPhone 7 they have revamped the standard 12 megapixel camera adding optical image stabilisation, an f/1.8 aperture and a quad LED true tone flash. The iPhone 7 Plus has an additional 12 megapixel camera making it the first iPhone to have the rear dual camera system.
The iPhone 7 features the brightest most colourful iPhone display yet, with a wide colour gamet and screen that is 25% brighter than the iPhone 6.
